WHat is H.I.T.S.?

Humpal Industrial Testing Services (H.I.T.S.) provides thorough testing for all industrial departments for pre-employment and/or fit-for-duty testing.

FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATION

An FCE is a comprehensive medical assessment of an individual’s safe functional tolerances and physical limitations relative to work activities. The data gathered through this evaluation objectively defines physical capabilities of the injured employee and or patient with a disability.

Who can Benefit from an FCE?

This test is beneficial not only for the patient/employee involved, but for other parties such as doctors, lawyers and employers:

  • Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI)
  • Disability Determination
  • Return to Work Full Duty Release
  • Return to Work with Limitations
  • Work Conditioning Program
  • Further Medical Treatment Plan

ON-SITE SERVICES

  • Medical and specialty (training) testing available for on-site testing
  • Date/time set-up required

EXTENDED SERVICES

  • 24/7 on-call (post-accident/injury)
  • Drug/Alcohol Testing
  • Hair Follicle Collection
  • Rapid Drug Testing
  • After hours services available upon request
  • High Volume/Groups Testing

PHYSICAL CAPABILITY EVALUATION

Physical Capability Evaluation determines if an individual has the strength and physical capabilities that the position requires. This test will qualify and protect employers, employees, and others from increased risk of injury. H.I.T.S. develops a detailed testing procedure per company/position requirements. Physical demands analysis is conducted on-site with the company’s health and safety manager.
