Physical Therapist
Scott Humpal, PT is a PT and the owner of Humpal Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers. He grew up in Butte, Nebraska. He participated in football, basketball, wrestling, track and baseball. He attended the Univ. of Nebraska, studying science, coaching, and athletic training. Then he transferred to the Univ. of Nebraska Medical Center where he graduated with a degree in PT in 1988. After graduation, Scott worked at a rural hospital in South Dakota, then moved to CC. His first job in So. TX was at Riverside Hospital in Calallen. The time spent at the hospital was personally gratifying, but it did not offer enough outpatient orthopedic care to satisfy his professional goals. He then worked 6 months for local PT Monica Green, and then decided to open his own practice. Unable to secure a business loan, $20,000 was scraped together from family members, and the first Humpal clinic was opened in Sinton, Texas in August of 1989. He now has 6 locations in the Coastal Bend. Scott has built his practice and reputation on providing progressive and quality care for all patients.
